Passport for Minor

Having your own passport does account for your individual proof of legal identity. People under the age of 18 are considered minors in India. Thus, minors can apply for their own passport from Passport Seva Online under the “Passport for Minor’ section. Passport for Minors allows children to own their passport. This makes it no longer acceptable to have minors’ names endorsed on their father’s passport, according to the new guidelines released by the Indian government. Also, passports for minors come with a 36-page booklet.
