How to Fill Out the Form Online

Before visiting the PSK, you are required to fill out the passport application form online and make an appointment. The following is a detailed description of how to submit the form online. Therefore, adhere to the steps carefully:

  • Click the ‘New User Registration link on the home page to finish the portal’s registration process.
  • Next, log in to the Passport Seva Online Portal using your registered login information.
  • Open the portal and select the “Apply for New Passport/Reissue of Passport” link.
  • Then, complete and submit the application form with the necessary information.
  • Select “Pay and Schedule Appointment” from the menu.
  • Click the “View Saved/Submitted Applications” option to schedule your appointment.
  • Afterward, to print your application receipt, which includes your Application Reference Number, click the ‘Print Application Receipt’ link (ARN).
  • On the day of your appointment, go to the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) or the Regional Passport Office (RPO) and present the required paperwork for validation.

➢ PSK Counter 'A'

  1. When your token number appears on the monitor, it’s your notification to enter the booth.
  2. The PSK Counter “A” collects biometric information. Furthermore, your paperwork will be examined. Documents that are surplus to requirements will be handed over. The Passport Seva (PSP) Portal will get the necessary documents for upload.
  3. After that, you’ll receive a printout of the personal data you’ve provided, which needs to be read over and signed. Additionally, the confirmed data will be posted on the portal.

➢ PSK Counter 'B'

  1. Again your token number will display on the screen; you must enter the counter.
  2. At this counter, your original documents will be verified.

➢ PSK Counter 'C'

  1. The passport application will be approved or denied at this counter.
  2. Furthermore, the passport’s “Granted” status signifies that it has been approved.
  3. After that, applicants would get the status of the police verification. Here it will be determined whether a passport will be issued based on a police verification or not.

➢ Exit PSK Counter

Here, the applicant gets an Acknowledgement letter; you can track the application status using this document. Thus, maintain and save the document carefully. 

Note: When the document states pre-police verification, then the passport will be printed after the police report is submitted.

1. Specify the type of passport service
